How to Disable WordPress Scheduled Maintenance

According to WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization), Intellectual Property refers to the creation and labor of the mind, including its fruition. It could be inventions, artistic and literary works, symbols, names, images and designs used in commerce. So, when someone came up with an epic or novel artistic creations, it can be protected in various ways and in many levels. This can be Patents, Trademarks or Copyright. But what are they exactly and how are they any different?

For seasoned and budding WordPress developer you will or might have encountered instances where while updating plugins or other WordPress core files, then when you try to move away from the page you are brought to this empty page saying “Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute.”

During the update process, WordPress enters “maintenance mode” and creates a temporary file called .maintenance in the root directory. This file displays the maintenance message to visitors.

This message should disappear automatically when the update is completed and the .maintenance file is removed. However, sometimes the update process may be interrupted or fail (due to server timeouts, memory limits, etc.), leaving the .maintenance file behind and keeping the site in maintenance mode.

Which means, where you registered the domain, there will be a corresponding hosting service at your beck and call.
